1. The double-column structure of the stacker frame consists of two columns and the upper and lower crossbeams forming a rectangular frame. The columns are available in the form of square tubes and round tubes. The square tube doubles as a lifting guide, while the round tube has an additional lifting guide. The advantages of double column stacker cranes are better strength and rigidity, and smooth operation.
 
2. Generally, double-column structure is used for stacker cranes in three-dimensional warehouses with high lifting height, large lifting capacity and high horizontal running speed. The lifting mechanism of double-column stacker cranes generally adopts chain drive, in which the motor reducer drives the sprocket wheel to rotate, and the chain leads the loading table to make lifting and lowering movements along the column or the guide rail of the lifting machine.
